DHAKA — Severe allegations of financial fraud, non-credit of funds, and extortion have been brought against online currency exchange platform ‘AL-Ebada Usdt Zone’ (also operating as AL-Ebada Agency Shop BD).
An aggrieved customer has issued a formal final legal notice to the management and customer support team of the platform, demanding an immediate refund of withheld funds and threatening strict criminal proceedings through cyber crime control authorities and consumer rights protection departments.
Uncredited Funds and Demands for Extra Deposit
According to the legal notice, the customer recently executed a transaction of $10 USD through the platform's service. Following the procedure, the customer received an official confirmation stating: "Total deposit $10 USD Successful your card."
However, despite receiving the successful confirmation, the deposited $10 USD was never credited to the customer’s account or card balance.
When the victim contacted customer support seeking resolution or fulfillment of the service, the platform reportedly refused to credit the original amount or issue a refund. Instead, the management allegedly demanded an additional forcefully imposed deposit of $100 USD under the guise of "settling the account issue."
Allegations of Extortion and Trap Tactics
In the formal communication, the customer strongly rejected the demand, terming the additional $100 USD deposit request an extortionate and fraudulent trap aimed at looting further money from users.
"Demanding extra funds to release a previous payment is a classic extortion and fraudulent tactic. I do not have the willingness or financial capability to deposit an additional $100 USD, nor will I fall into this trap," the notice read.
The affected individual explicitly rejected depositing any additional funds and demanded an unconditional and immediate refund of the original payment.
Law Enforcement and Regulatory Action Warning
The legal notice sets a 24-hour ultimatum for the administrators and operators of 'AL-Ebada Usdt Zone' to refund the money. Failing to comply, the victim warned, will result in immediate legal action.
